As a company, Milk Specialties Global (MSG) has been an industry leader is recognizing the importance of meeting international food safety standards and wants to remind its customers of our current certifications. MSG currently has three facilities that are certified to the SQF Level II standard: Fond du Lac, WI; Mountain Lake, MN; Visalia, CA.
With the SQF certification, our customers have confidence they are buying products that have passed this rigorous international food safety standard, recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI)). Since SQF is recognized by retailers and foodservice providers around the world, it can replace costly customer audits. To ensure compliance, each plant is regularly reviewed for the effectiveness of our food safety programs including: HACCP systems, documentation, laboratory practices, sustainable sanitation processes, Good Manufacturing Practices compliance, plant infrastructure integrity, employee training, and much more.
Milk Specialties Global has set the goal of having all our food plants SQF certified by the end of 2015.
