Milk Specialties Global has established an internal scholarship program to assist employees and their dependent children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.

Applications are currently open until March 25th.

Previous Milk Specialties Global Scholarship Recipients

Applications were received from all throughout the company, with a total of 15 applicants. The following are four recipients who were each selected to receive a $2,000 scholarship for the 2018-19 Academic Year:

Molly Asleson, daughter of Nikki and Richard Asleson, will be attending the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Molly currently works as a CNA and is a distinguished honor student. She is going to major in Nursing and expects to graduate May 2022. (Boscobel, WI)

Cassidy Cook, daughter of Tim and Peggy Cook, is attending Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, WI. Cassidy previously received her Health Care Technician and Health Unit Coordinating degrees in December 2017. She is now working towards her degree in Radiology and expects to graduate December 2019. (Fond du Lac, WI)

Samuel Nelson, son of Mark and Debra Nelson, attends the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in Minneapolis, MN. He is an active member in an acapella group, the American Medical Student Association, and the Gopher Power-lifting Club. He is majoring in Neuroscience and expects to graduate May 2019. (Eden Prairie, MN)

Daniel Rehm, Jr., son of Daniel Rehm, Sr., is going to attend the University Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He is currently a drum major, varsity football lineman, and a varsity cheerleader. Daniel is a National Cheer Finalist and was named a State Cheer Champion in 2017 and 2018. He is going to major in Electrical Engineering and expects to graduate June 2022. (Fond du Lac, WI)
